Mommy's Little Hipsters

Josiah and Jocelyn are already so used to me taking there pictures all the time, that now they actually will come get me during their playtime if something is photo worthy. This is one of those times, Josiah came running to me yelling "Mom, get your camera, we need to take a picture of Joce!" After she had her turn (which she was THAT interested in) Josiah begged for me to take some of him too. So of course he gave me what he got. lol I was LOVING it! I don't know where he got the idea of doing that with his eyes... I'm sure it has nothing to do with him hearing me tell people "look up that way.... now look over here... wait stop look back there" haha Anyways these kids are a hoot and I love them to pieces.

Macro Monday

So Family and Photography have completely consumed my life. I give major props to those of you who know how to balance things so well. I just can hardly find time to blog. It really bumms me out, cause I really have this blog for more of a journal to document things I my life that I love. BUt Blogging TAKES TIME!! I'm going to try to make it a point to update once a week. Just document things with my kids better and make memories last longer.  

 SOOOOO that being said, it finally RAINED!!! And A good rain too!! This has been one of the worst droughts in Texas history. And it was so delightful to be able to go play in the rain.

Jocelyn was taking a nap, so Josiah got to play in the rain for about an hour(before he got cold and wanted to come inside) He is so funny to watch. He had an obsession with running and rocks. It was pretty difficult to keep up with him, but I'm really pleased with the photos I was able to capture. Best Quote of the Day: "Mama you hear that? You hear the sky?" referring to the thunder <3

Man , I can't believe how fast my little ones are growing. Josiah is ONE month away from turning 2!! And Jocelyn is already 6 months.

We went to Seguin last week to visit with Grandma, I jumped on the opportunity to go to Starke Park. (It's so perfect for kids of all ages) I love letting josiah run around and snapping pictures of him. The hardest thing though is keeping up with him. I always end up getting pictures of his back.

Jocelyn was watching her big brother run around, I know she's already wanting to follow him around. And I can't wait until she is big enough so they can run around and play together.

It was such a beautiful day I didn't want to leave. The tempature was perfect and there was a nice strong breeze. Those are my FAVORITE days. It seems that everyday lately has been perfect, I don't know why I don't spend more time outside. I can't wait for the day I have my our house and yard. **SIGH** off in a day dream mode..................................

Taking time for family

So I've really been neglecting my blog lately. And the computer for that matter. I've been really focusing on spending time with my family and taking time to cherish all the little moments with my kids. I have REALLY been enjoying my time away from the computer. I've been able to do other things that I love as well.  My current projects including making halloween costumes, editing wedding photos, carving pumpkins, and decorating for halloween. Also we have been taking family outings, which I absolutely LOVE.

Just yesterday we spent the whole day at the zoo. It was a lot of fun. 

San Antonio has such a great zoo, it's on my bucket list to visit all major zoos.

I'll have to post pictures later of the halloween costumes. They are turning out so cute. Our family theme is Yo Gabba Gabba. I'm hoping to get all our costumes finished before halloween.

Anyways,  to those of you who actually enjoy reading my blog, sorry I've been such a stranger to the blog world. Just trying to figure things out.
